I looked at this box for a long time thinking, “Yeah, right. Another pretty self-development thing — like I actually have time for that.”
I run a small business. Constant deadlines, clients, messages coming in even at night. For months I was just going through the motions. The word “should” alone was enough to make me feel sick. Honestly, I bought the box more out of desperation than belief.
I tried to do everything “the right way,” seven days in a row — and of course that didn’t happen. The practice ended up stretching over two weeks. Still, somewhere around the third or fourth ritual, something started to change. I noticed how tense my jaw and stomach were all the time, especially when I thought about work. And for once, I didn’t brush it off or push through it.
It felt like I was slowly coming back into my body. I started noticing how I was sitting, whether I was actually tired, whether I really needed to reply to messages right away or could leave them for later. There was no miracle at the end — nothing like “my life completely changed in seven days.” But things did feel lighter. I snapped less. I didn’t react as sharply as before.
I also have more energy now. It became easier to get up, easier to start the day, and there was less of that urge to cancel everything and hide under a blanket.
The most valuable part for me was realizing that I could actually feel my body — and myself — again.
